This was an unexpectedly light "dinner" on board of BA232 from DME to LHR. Last time I checked this flight always had a proper hot meal option, suitable for a long-haul destination, as BA markets Russia. The expiry date on the sandwich was the date of the flight itself with no further notes so it was not sure if that was made on the day (to be consumed on the day) or it was lying in the cool dark place for a few days waiting to be consumes. I'd rather stick to the former, as the sandwich was very good, full of flavour and tasted quite fresh. There were also two rounds of drinks, and water and juice(s) were offered from the tray before the landing. The service was extremely attentive and very professional.
