There was a choice of an egg-mayonnaise and bacon sandwich, or a cheese and tomato sandwich. I opted for the former. The sandwich was very well-filled, which is often a rarity witht regards to airline catering. The bacon tasted fresh, and the egg-mayonnaise provided some texture to the sandwich. The sandwich also comprised two wholemeal pieces of bread, making the sandwich appropriate for those who dislike white bread. A large strawberry yoghurt was provided. This was fresh, very cold and something appreciated by eveyone on board - a 'wake-up' food that also contained small portions of cut up strawberries. Finally, a small chocolate rocky road biscuit was provided. This was very cru chy, but full of flavour and certainly something I wouldn't mind stocking in my own cupboard at home! A FANTASTIC LUNCH!

Equipment: The tray was fully functional and incorporated a sliding mechanism, which enabled the user to position the table in a comfortsble position - even in an exit row. Plastic cutlery was provided - it was perhaps a little flimsy but stayed intact throughout the meal.
