British Airways really needs to step up its first class offering. Lunch after takeoff was decent and both the smoked salmon and asparagus soup were great. The beef fillet was good, as well as the chocolate mille-feuille cake. But the pre-arrival meal was nasty. The souffle appetizer was served warmed but it was too heavy - cheese overload. The main course was limited to a Main Course salad with prawns, pasta or bacon roll. Not every good so I stuck with pasta, which was way too heavy. Then dessert was fresh fruit, but they add some syrup (lime I think) to it. The pre-arrival light meal needs to feature better food.
