vinegar dressing / Dessert - V (Menu Card)

Potato snacks were tasty but unexciting. The prawn salad starter was OK but again not particularly adventurous, with the dressing being rather tasteless. The steak was saved by the pesto on top of it. The plastic knife struggled to cut it, but that was due to the low quality knife rather than the toughtness of the meat. The salad bed was large but lacklustre. The desert was pretty tasty, and the 1/2 strawberry was firm and fresh. The wines were OK but uninspiring. No shortage of beverage fill ups but unfortunately I had to abstain as I had to drive at the other end. The experience reminded me of why British food is not world reknowned."
