Canapés were nowhere near as good as those out of Heathrow: the bread based ones were wet and soggy. The dim-sum looking one had blue cheese and pine nuts and was the only good one of the three. There was nothing that jumped out at me on the menu, but I found that the lobster was really rather good. The salad was boring. The chicken tikka salad was cold, which I wasn't expecting. I left most of the salad and the chicken tikka. The cheese plate was OK, and I took the opportunity to max out with the wines... a Sancerre for the goats cheese, a port for the harder chedder and the Sauternes with the blue. The Sancerre was yummy, being about as bone dry as anything I've tasted. But it was the Château Filhot which took the prize for me. There was nothing on the desert menu to excite me, so I gave up on the food and set up my own personal Champagne reception in the galley. Service was excellent. By the way, they do use cork screws on board, but they're kept locked away.
