The salad leaves were really fresh. The dressing was very nice. Metal knives again. The gravlax with honey mustard sauce was good. They had the sauce in a hollowed out cucumber. Good presentation. The main courses we had were very disappointing. They were very bland. However, the rice was reasonable, not all hard and crusty. Thank goodness for the kimchis and the chilli paste. Otherwise, the prawn and the chicken dishes would be flat! The selection of cheeses was safe, nothing adventurous. Points added for using Carr's Table Water crackers. I find them very good for cheeses. Fruits were fresh and sweet. The cake was unpalatable! I could not even force myself to finish it. Neither could my wife. It was completely tasteless. I did not expect the 'fruits' in the cake to be of the dried type.
