Snack at the lounge and Dinner onboard (Menu Card)
** Lounge: CX has two beautiful lounges in HKG. Both lounges have the "Noodle Bar" serving western style snacks and asian noodles. I opted for the Won Ton Noodle soup with steamed char sui bun. Very tasty! ** Onboard: (from the menu) Selected Seasonal Salad w/balsamic vinegar dressing. Appet: Mugwart Soba Noodles, Chicken & Mackerel Tataki. Main: Steamed Seabass adn Grilled Scallop w/Sea Urchin Sauche. Bamboo rice and Mixed vegetables (Japanese style)

Cathay Signature drink: Pacific Sunrise - a refreshing combination of champagne and Drambuie w/ the zest of orange and lemon. (The strips of orange and yellow in the drink are orange and lemon peals)

Cathay's cart services in J class is nicely presented. The signature drink was a bit too sweet for me but a creative drink. The salad greens were exceptionally crisp, noodles did NOT stick to each other as often experienced on other airlines and the main course was delicious.
