A comfortable late night flight with light catering. The cost cutting is obvious given the quality of the supper courses, especially the appetizer and dessert. The snacks available after the meal service are adequate and the beef burger proved to be satisfying.
Appetizer - dips with bread sticks.
Main dish - Beef and mushroom pie accompanied by grilled vegetables.
Dessert - Berries with light ginger syrup.
Cheese plate - Pecorino, St. Pauline and Camembert served with water crackers and spiced pear paste. (this course was only available on request). A Sauternes was featured on the menu but unfortunately it was not loaded, so I had to do with a Port.
Snack - Australian grain fed beef burger with Swiss cheese and pickled gherkin.
Breakfast
Drink of choice, seasonal fruit plate, natural or fruit yogurt to start.
Main dish - Shredded kwai fan chicken and bean curd skin congee, stir fried rice roll with dried shrimps, spring onion and XO sauce.
Oriental Breeze, water, Port, and mango & passion fruit smoothie
