Cathay Pacific flights out of Japan have changed alot in recent months. Now they have done away with hot towels, and just give out the disposable antiseptic wipes. There were no menus on this sector, unlike before. So when serving the food the crew used the good old "chicken or beef?" phrase. Unfortunately they didnt know what they were serving either. The salad was the typical lettuce/carrot/raisin mix with salmon. All you could taste was salmon though. The chicken was chewy and covered in egg? nobody was quite sure. It was on an enormous mount of plain spagetti noodles, which was too much considering there were Japanese noodles as well. Extremely unappetising. The only redeeming point was that there was icecream.
