Cathay Pacific has refreshed its first class catering with new china and glassware, as well as new serving styles. The structure of the meals have not changed much and it still serves meals according to a schedule, although F/As are very accommodating in first class. For this daytime flight to HK, there is a lunch service after takeoff and a light dinner prior to arrival. Part 1 covers the lunch service, and I am a fan of the Grilled double American lamb rib chop with lemon-rosemary jus. The new salad seems to get a mixed review but knowing the food trend, I am actually okay of it. Of course I prefer the older style seafood green salad. The Greek yogurt is really a bit strange to be used as a salad dressing.
