A first class breakfast was to be had before even boarding the aircraft in the Concorde lounge at JFK. The food on board was equally excellent. Concorde is such an extraordinary plane, it seems miraculous that hot food can be served at all. The only other way to travel at Mach 2 is via military jet or space shuttle, where G suits have to be worn and food comes out of tubes. It is so sad that Concorde is to be withdrawn from service and we will all have to regress to subsonic 'busses'. If you haven't been supersonic yet, sell your babies, mortgage the dog, spend your airmiles, do anything to be one of the last of the Supersonic generation. BA's last flights are in October 03, Air France has already stopped (and their meals looked even better plus they used metal cutlery).
