Breakfast
First is the new "Premier Bags" CO gives
out on transcons out of EWR. They contain a paperback novel, face spray,
lip balm, chocolates, and a sample of a designer fragrance. Starter plate
was sliced pineapple, canteloupe, honeydew, grapes, and strawberries.
Fresh baked croissants, cinnamon rolls, and bagels were brought out in
baskets. The main course was a cheese omelet with smoked pork loin, cherry
tomato, and potatoes. Around an hour before arrival, fresh baked chocolate
chip cookies were served.
Water, orange juice, full drink service.
Beautiful flight to Seattle, friendly crew and good meal. The new Premier Bags are a nice touch, especially considering the premium-cabin market from NYC to the West Coast is only becoming richer with the introduction of United's p.s. 757 service from JFK. Slight service cuts here and there are evident but Continental still offers an excellent product.
