Dinner - Prior to dinner, I enjoyed a vodka on the rocks which was served with whole cashew nuts that were fresh and tasty--but not warm. Then a salad consisting of tomato, sliced egg, croutons, and red onion slices on a bed of fresh mixed gre (Menu Card)

A very decent California Chablis. After dinner I enjoyed a small square of chocolate cake with black coffee and an undistinguished cognac.
