First Course: Antipasto Misto.
Roasted fennel and orange salad.
Chianti wine salami with fresh mozzarella and crostini with artichoke and black olive spread.
Carrot caponata with mixed greens.
Parmesan dip with warm bread.
Main: Grilled beef tenderloin with balsamic glaze, pesto mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.
Dessert: Gelato with fresh strawberries.
Tea: Harney & Sons English Breakfast.
Movie Snack: Harvest Cheddar Multigrain Sun Chips, fresh banana and Blue Moon Belgian White beer.
After movie snack: Freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie.

This is from the menu created by Michael Chiarello for Delta's Transcontinental Business Elite service between JFK and Los Angeles, San Francisco, and soon to be Seattle. The warm nuts were amazing and I wish I'd gotten a bigger portion! The Antipasto Misto was also out of this world. Mozzarella cheese was really, really fresh and I LOVED the parmesan dip with the warm bread! The steak was perfectly medium and the balsamic glaze was absolutely scrupmtious! I skipped the cheese plate and the gelato REALLY tasted like fresh strawberries! All this served by a crew who kept on pouring wine with a smile. Simply fantastic!
