1. Grilled Shrimp with Roasted Corn Salsa: Appearance was wilted and limp but the shrimp had a nicely char-grilled flavor. 2. Beet and Goat Cheese Salad 3. Farmers Market Vegetable Soup: Tomato based, nothing special but tasty with thin broth and chunks of vegetables. 4. Chilled Plate of Cold Fried Chicken, Tarragon Potato Salad and Chipotle Mayonnaise: One of the best meals I've ever had from Delta Business Class (now Delta ONE). I almost always opt for the safe, hot red meat and potato meal option but thought I would try the cold option this time because I am a sucker for fried chicken. It was very tasty, especially with the mayo dip accompanying it and it literally reminded me of having a picnic spread at 40,000 feet. Perfect foil to the medium bodied, fruit forward pinot noir.
