Among most domestic airlines, Delta seems to be stepping it up a notch. The 767 First Class service is a welcome ride compared to the A320. All they really need to do is change few things for In-Flight service. 1) Provide warm nuts in a small ceramic dish for starters and not an economy ‘bag” of pretzels 2) Bring back a warm roll and not some dried bread sticks in a plastic bag on your tray. 3) Provide at best a staged level service on a flight that is over five hours by offering dessert and coffee selections in the isle on a tray as not to feel rushed. 4) The service that was provided on this flight was a lot like the “Express Meals” that are and use to be offered on Flights for people that wanted more time to work or sleep. It also is in the line of a business class all in one meal. For First Class, I think we need to go back to our roots.
