Very impressive dinner. The quality of the food must reflect the high standard of the Japanese caterers. The tuna timbale and the crab leg was superb. The breads were delicious and warm. I chose the beef, which was wonderfully medium rare and the sauce was flavourful. The meat was of good quality. The Japanese Eel rice was very good. The eel did not taste too 'fishy' and it was done in a very tasty sauce. The rice, again, was not hard and grainy. It was heated just right. We did not try the seafood. We missed the cheese board, but we tried some fruits, which are sweet and fresh. The dessert of Panna Cotta was terrific. The only let down was the rather poor winelist. The service was wonderful from the cabin crew.
