One of the worst meals I have had on flights - completely unworthy of first class. The hostess brought out a tray with 8 items - and passengers got to choose what combination they wanted. The beef was the toughest piece of meat I have encountered in my life - and had to leave it untouched. I managed to cut it with the plastic cutlery they provided in first class! The shrimp were unremarkable - and overcooked in some sauce. The ravioli was a glop of carbohydrate! The service was poor - very little solicitation of food or other comfort throughout the 12 hour flight. There were at least two uniformed male hosts who chatted with each other all the time and did absolutely NOTHING! Last time I will travel by Egypt Air!
