Lunch buffet in the Emirates Lounge in FRA
The lunch time buffet in the Emirates Lounge in FRA offered tipical Arabian-Persian Gulf dishes: hummus (mashed cheek peas, sesam oil and lemon juice) and mutabbal (mashed egg plant with sesam oil and garlic) on fresh lettuce, smoked salmon and salmon mousse, chicken breast olive, dill topped grilled zander fillet curry with bay leaves and cloves flavoured Basmati rice, parsley topped chicken tikka (quite spicy) and breadcrumbs coated deeply fried chicken breast. They served outstanding mushroom filled pasta cases as well.
Veuve Clicquot, wide range of white and red wines, finest spirits, the whole array of soft drinks.
To put it simple: absolutely mind-blowing! It was a feast for the senses. Top level in terms of freshness, arrangement, scents and taste. This worls-class buffet was provided by a catering company from FRA which Emirates had carefully selected.
