HKG/BKK Light Evening
HKG/BKK Light Evening Meal: 'Bonaqua' water. made by Coca Cola. Haynes Ranch Syrah, 2002. Californian red wine. Tea BKK/DXB Breakfast: Orange Juice Tea
HKG/BKK Light Evening Meal: Salad a bit on the limp side, not improved by the bland dressing. Beef & vegetables better than it looked. Hot and satisfying. I didn't attempt the cake as my body suddenly became a temple. Wine did its job & sent me to sleep. BKK/DXB Breakfast: Fruit tasted like it had just been plucked. Excellent & refreshing to awaken the palate. Noodles a tad overcooked but good colour & smell. Croissant was stale but what do you expect after 7 hours in the air. Altogether a fine breakfast. I like flying with Emirates. Their seats may be no bigger or no more comfortable than their rivals but their staff, from check-in to destination, always have a great disposition. They give off a truly professional approach and I love the uniforms. The planes don't seem as sparklingly clean (on the inside) as they always used to. I hope they start sprucing up the older ones soon.
