Air Berlin has recently introduced a business class product on these intra-European flights. They basically blocked off the middle seats in the first row and added a label to the overhead bin. You supposed to get a pillow and hot towel service. however, since this flight was operated by Niki this afternoon there was no pillow or hot towel service. Like AB, you still get unlimited beverages and BOB meals.snacks. The good thing on Niki is their greater range of hot meals and the veal patties are delicious, as well as the graze box. The service was top notch and the F/As could not be nicer.

I am still not sure why Air Berlin needs a European business class
