My first experience with Gulf traveler was as bad that with Gulf Air a few years back (not only the meal). We were given a selection of Beef or Chicken. The meal contained what appeared to be a piece of grilled chicken that till today I am debating if it were chicken or fish! In an oily sauce. With Sticky noodles and baby corn (a stir fry thing perhaps?!). The salad was part hummus which was smooth but not really tasty with a very salty feta cheese in herb thing. Not edible. A piece of Ma’mool which is a famous date pastry, this example was a product of a local bakery chain. Since I am not a general fan of it I didn’t like how it tasted. Not to forget the brown thin pita bread, water, OJ (chemical like) and coffee. In my opinion the best thing with this meal was the coffee spoon, sleek isn’t it?
