Hong Kong Airlines took the opportunity on its inaugural flight from HKG to LAX on December 18, 2017 to enhance its catering in business class. Everything are served in new plates and glasses. They are mostly stylish and the stemless glassware is quite nice. The main meal featured better dishes and there is even a soup course now - tomato soup on the inaugural flight to LAX. There are still things to work on and the Gabriel Choy's menu can use some twerking. Maybe they need to ask Choy to design more courses and dishes. n
