Dinner
After take-off: a bowl of roasted almonds and cashews, tomato juice on ice and red wine. Starter: hot bread and extra-virgin olive oil, pleasant consomme, scallops with vegetable noodles and citrus fruits dressing. Escarole, pomegranate and black olive salad, balsamic vinegar. El Casar goat cheese with quince. Main course: monkfish with cava wine sauce, grilled zucchini and baked tomato. Dessert: chestnut and brandy mousse tartlet. Pre-arrival supper: iberico ham, fuet sausage, turkey lacon, cheese, tomato and extra-virgin olive oil. Fresh fruit and coffee. Drinks: tomato juice, red wine, cava, sweet wine, brandy, coffee and water.

I was encouraged to try the range of Spanish red wines they had on board - a good in-flight wine-tasting experience!
