Dinner Japanese option comprising: an obento box with japanese delicacies, a crabmeat cake, japanese "soba" noodles, a red bean based sweet, plus a hot meal of "tori kijiyaki don" (chicken teriyaki) with (Menu Card)

Fleur de Lynch red bordeaux wine (JAL's branded red wine) out of a selection of soft drinks/beers/wines.

Very nice dinner served two hours after departure due to turbulence. The tray set-up was extremely elegant and pleasant to look at. Food was tasty and plentiful: the red wine was pleasant as well. It came with a "fun" menu card, detailing Reso'cha characters. European and American airlines: please take note on how Japanese carriers are still pampering their passengers, even in economy, despite the harsh economic climate.
