Non vegetarian Dinner - Dahi wada (Deep-fried
urad dal doughnut topped with yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutney), onion
salad.
Entree was mutton curry, mushroom steam rice, and bhindi (okra) masala.
Accompanied with chapattis and pickle. Desert - Saffron Rosogolla (sugar/semolina
ball in sugar syrup). The finale is of course
the "after mint" sachet.
Packaged water, which was preceded by Aam panna (spicy mango refresher)
I'm not too fond of Dahi wada or onions, so I skipped on both of them and therefore cannot comment. The mutton curry was a bit bland, but the mutton was well cut and cooked. Mushrooms in the steam rice was a nice touch. Bhindi masala was yum, and home style chapattis was nice too. Jet Airways meals are not the same anymore. Standards are depreciating gradually, and a review of their in-flight food service would be appreciated.
