Dinner , Special meal: no
A second meal was served approximately 1.5 hours before landing in LA. The choice was either chicken with mashed broccoli and carrots or pasta with tomato sauce; I chose the chicken. It came with bread and butter as well as chocolate pudding.

Tea and water (neither of which are pictured)

This was actually a very nice meal. The chicken was tender, the vegetables tasty and the bread fresh, and I also enjoyed the pudding. In addition, the size of the meal was just right for the end of a 12-hour long flight, after the main meal and some snacking in between.
