Malaysia Airline’s signature dish of charcoal-grilled Satay is always welcome, particularly the new venison variety. Cabin was fairly empty so we were pressed to have plenty of second helpings. Plane wasn't one of the newly refurbished ones, but was still fine - it was the old three-class configuration. In some ways, the old "cradle" seats are better padded than the new lie-flat variety and seem wider too. Complimentary use of Golden Lounge in KLIA while waiting for connecting flight was a nice touch as well.
