"The flight leaves LAX at 1 AM, arrives TPE at 6 AM local time, then leaves 75 min later for KUL arriving 11:30 AM. Three meals are offered enroute. There were only 2 passengers in First, the rest of the plane was fully booked. The other passenger in First was a vegetarian. Supper service began with chicken and beef satay; Indian spiced prawns, cabbage roll with aspaagus and honey marinated chicken breast. Two soups were offered, seafood chowder and clear oriental vegtable. The main course was salmon, chicken curry, NY steak or pumpkin Ravioli in an Alfredo Sauce.I ordered from the menu and expected an individual portion of food to be delivered. Instead the FAs presented a full trolly of food. I was embarrassed, but ended up having a little of this and a little of that. Sorry about the photo quality. It was a new digital camera and I did not know how to operate it well. The dinner was very good. I then slept until we were 45 min out of TPE. I was not hungry so I had a cold breakfast and passed on the eggs to order, mixed grill and blueberry pancakes. The brunch was great. Dim Sum (shrimp dumpling. chicken cheung fun and turnip cake with chili paste.) I added the noodles and a sliver of the au gratin potato. Other Brunch choices were a stir fried beef, omelette pizzaiola or spinach and riccota tortellini. This was a great transpacific flight!!!"
