Very small sandwich in a spiced roll; peanuts and an "orejitas" (puff pastry) package. Aviation was going through a crisis back then and this was one of the first indicators of the demise of inflight service in Mexico. Sadly, with some exceptions the surviving airlines have adopted an US-style approach to inflight catering and service.
