Catering: Domodedovo Catering LLC (Moscow). I must give them their due, the food was excellent this time. Hotter, anyway. Buckwheat with chicken and gravy was simply excellent! Although usually side dishes go by the wayside, but I haven't seen such delicious buckwheat on airplanes for a long time! Probably the last 10 years for sure... Juicy, not dry, not bland and not too salty, but such as it should be! Combined with a delicious sauce, it turned out just awesome! The chicken was also very tasty, the pieces were large and soft. I didn't really like the salad just... It was dry and hard. The cabbage in it is not crumpled, without juice, and stuck out in stiff chunks. It wasn't very pleasant to eat. The old and toothless probably had a bad time eating at all. Oatmeal cookies are fresh, and of course not cloying. So in general, the norms. Separately, I want to say about drinks. There was a relatively wide selection of them and they poured several cups without stinginess or greed. Soft drinks were carried 2 times during the 4-hour flight. Before dinner, and 30 minutes before boarding. Moreover, half an hour before landing, they offered not only water with gas and without gas, but also carbonated lemonade! Although the truth is a cheap Minusinsk soda. By the way, NordStar has a traditional, long-standing practice. Aeroflot, for example, now generally drinks 1 time, and the S7 the second time only with water. And then it often happens with only one water at all (2 flights OVB-KRR, KJA-DME). So this year I am absolutely delighted with this flight and the airline! This year I flew a lot of things, including our "premium" national carrier and S7, but I liked NordStar the most! For this price: 3490 rubles (about 41-42 euros) such an excellent service!!! And it is 2 times cheaper than the poor low-cost airline Pobeda! Everything was pleasant, starting with check-in for the flight. I had a baggage-free fare, which included free hand luggage of 10 kg 55x40x28 cm, and additional luggage of 5 kg. Despite the fact that he was carrying things passing close to each other: an average bag of 8.5 kg + a backpack of 4.95 kg, they were not even looked at and weighed at the counter, silently sticking tags and waving his hand. Not tortured with calibrators, etc. The charm is simple! There are spacious seats in the cabin, if compared with the cramped Aeroflot B-738, which was now flying to the end where the man from the "C" seat was forced to put his feet diagonally into the aisle, because they did not get in. And in the end, great food, drinks and service! The service itself also deserves special praise! The flight attendants worked very smartly, operatively and were concise. They quickly delivered everything to everyone, without asking anything again and without hesitating, while smiling at everyone and pouring a supplement! Unlike S7 and Aeroflot (which now distributes everything at a time according to technology), they quickly fed and watered everyone and collected everything, giving them a decent time to sleep. It's nice that at night dinner didn't stretch for the entire flight, like some. We flew too fast, for 4 hours 08 minutes - a tailwind in the tail. So just the charm of the airline and the flight! Although I criticized them before, but this year I liked them more than Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines, Smartavia and Krasavia combined! Well done!
