lunch - main - Seafood salad Shrimp with Lemon Boeuf Bourguignon Piperade Roasted potatoes Brie French roll (crisp and delicious) President butter Crumb cake Coffee/tea, mineral water, lemonade, soft drinks, beer (Nevskoe, delicious), red wine (Merlot) from Bordeaux, white (Sauvignon Blanc) and Alsatian Riesling.

Beer (Nevskoe)

A superb meal, chunks of soft, fragrant beef stewed in Burgundy wine with peppers and delicious roasted potatoes. Salad was outstanding too. Cheese – well, I like brie at any time, but here it complimented the main course just perfectly. This is an excellent lunch for economy class on an intra-European route, served by friendly Pulkovo cabin crew. Wine – did not try their wine this time although normally I drink wine in France (on the ground or stick with mineral water). Beer – delicious, cold St. Petersburg brewed Nevskoe, I had like six or seven cans during the flight. No full bar service but people who wish to have cognac or whisk/e/y in flight (I am not one of them) can buy hard liquor duty free. Flying with Pulkovo is an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately I can’t it higher than 10 (10 for economy class food, 10 for beverages, 10 for service).
