A good selection of wines and spirits

Better than average meal on Qantas international. The typical boring green salad. I've noticed that the quantity and the quality of the leaves has deteriorated in the past 12 months. There was a choice of 3 starters - pumpkin soup, grilled chicken skewers or salad of prawns with lime salsa. I had the prawn salad and it was quite bland. There were 4 main courses - pan fried polenta, roast chicken with potato gratin, barramundi with tamarind sauce and beef tagine with sweet potato. As usual on Qantas, they ran out of main meal choices and had to settle on my second choice of beef tagine. The dish was ok with enough flavour but the cous cous was tasteless. For dessert there was chocolate mousse, ice cream, fruit or cheese. I had the ice cream which was good. Just before arrival we were offered a choice of cornish pastie or meatball sandwich. Both were underwhelming and I was expecting more in business class.

Equipment: The plates are way too small and are closer to entree size than a main size. Stemless glasssware is nice. The cutlery always looks marked.
