breakfast & dinner dinner: first course was Thai schrimp and pineapple salad. For main course we had lamb filet with potato wedges, sugar snap peas and morel sauce. Desert consisted of selescted cheeses and petit fours.

champagne, 1995 Henriot. Red wine, 1996 Seleccion Izarbe Reserva, Larchago Rioja.

This was a late night flight (we left EWR at midnight), so the crew went right on with dinner serving. No cocktail service. Crew was really friendly and helpful. Food was great with speedy an eficcient service whenever called upon. Lamb fillet wass real tender. A340s are relatively new with SAS, and the business class cabin offers comfortable seats with lots legroom.
