Dinner - Main: steamed rice with fried sambal fish and mushy mixed vegetables; Dessert: water chestnut-jelly cake thingy

Reasonably tasty fish, may be spicy to unseasoned palates. Mushy vegetables surprisingly flavorful despite bland appearance, rice relatively fragrant and moist. Lovely dessert, not exceedingly sweet - would have enjoyed a second serving!
