Dinner - Main - penne in tomato-based sauce with pumpkin and spiced chicken; Dessert - water-chestnut-jelly cake thingy

White wine, water, brewed coffee

Pasta was a little overcooked but still palatable; chicken was mildly spicy (not fiery) and moderately tasty; pumpkin was not too mushy or firm; best was the water-chestnut-jelly cake thingy for dessert. My kids enjoyed the pasta but found the chicken odd - a little too fusin perhaps?
