SIngapore Airlines really fails miserably with these ultra long haul flights in terms of their meal timing. Who decide that it is actually a good idea to serve your heartier meal two third into your flight and 9pm in Seattle local time. To add insult to such poor timing, the meal wasn't even good despite literally having four pages of listing. The Suzanne Goin's starter of roasted baby leek with soft egg was just awful and tasteless, despite the egg remains runny. They offered a local fare, which is an Asado Style Grilled Beef Fillet, but they did not load the sauce. The beef was overcooked and once again had no taste. About an hour prior to arrival, I was so hungry that I just grabbed a sandwich in the galley, which was a pastrami sandwich that tasted awful. I finished it though because I was hungry. Singapore Airlines really needs to work on these ultra long haul flights. Having all these celebrity chefs mean nothing, when the quality of food was so bad.
