The Lor Mai Kai is a traditional Singaporean breakfast dish. Tasted just like what I would get the local hawker centres in Singapore. Tasty albeit a little oily - just the way I like it. The dish came with a little tub of chilli sauce...perfect. The fruit slices were as usual, tasteless. This is the standard fruit appetisers that SATS food, meal, catering offers. I wonder why they don't get sweeter pineapples. The pineapple slices tasted sour and tasteless, and a little unripe. The grapes weren't sweet either. The best part of the meal was the apple crumble. Really rich in flavor and filled with juicy warm apple chunks. Would be been perfect if more vanilla sauce was added.
