Lunch - Baked Veal Loin with mushrooms-blue cheese crust, sauteed savoy cabbage and fettuccine. Plus a roll. (Menu Card)

All washed down with a Singapore Sling and a glass of piper heidsieck rare cuvee reservee champagne.

"This is really good - lovely and tender, with a delicate flavour. True, the pasta had obviously been baked in a square container, but wasn't any the worst for that. The drinks menu is amazing in business, with a long cocktail list (The Gin Fizz is a dream), but oddly, only two types of white wine."
