Singapore Airlines' strength continues to be its inflight service (but its ground service is another story though). The food catered from Singapore is excellent and the quality is restaurant grade. The warmed appetizer of lobster prepared in a Singaporean style was excellent. The Oriental Thick Chicken Soup with shredded dried scallop was really good. For the main course, I chose the new Book the Cook Dish, Chashu Ramen, which was okay. The noodles went soggy because we hit some turbulence when they served me the meal, but the broth and the soft boiled eggs were good.
