On May 14, 2004 on a business flight from Amsterdam to Lisbon our friend João Ferreira wrote : "Apparently TAP just decided to start serving only a simple sandwich in all it's medium range flights, with a tiny salad. For me it's a bad move, as their good meals used to be a sort of compensation for their constant delays and bad service." I couldn't agree more ! The orange juice was of the industrial low cost brand, it took me a whole minute to steady my stomach, sick bag at the ready. Never had the nerve after that to taste the sandwich and mess with it in an attempt to remove all the fat. Besides the haughty self-sufficiency displayed by the cabin crew killed the little appetite i had left.
