Dinner
From the menu: “To Begin: Smoked salmon with
capers and fresh lemon; Mesclun salad with Asian dressing. Main Course:
Deep-fried silver cod with soy mirin sauce; Gingko nut, shimeji mushrooms
and hanagata rice with sesame seeds. Dessert: Tropical sherbet medley; Orange,
mango and raspberry flavored.” Also came with a choice of rolls and
butter. Other choices were “Sautéed veal Zurchoise with a mushroom
cream sauce; Pumpkin gnocchi pasta with tomato fondue and Parmesean cheese”
and “Five-spice smoked breast of chicken with chicken juice; Egg fried
rice and broccoli florets.”
Sparkling wine pre-takeoff, water and a nice Kabinett with dinner, port with dessert.
Very good dinner; the fish was delicious, mild and moist. The sherbet was refreshing. Lovely, attentive service from the Asian crew.
