Dinner - Sliced roast beef, carrots and broccoli with mashed potatoes and gravy. A shrimp and celery salad, plus a green salad and dinner roll with cheese and crackers. Dessert was a creamy cheese cake. (Menu Card)

"The roast beef had a nice flavor and I wondered if this we a menu item from the summer taste of Chicago promotion? The mashed potatoes tasted like instant. The shrimp salad was a nice addition, but the accompanying celery did not have much added flavor from the covering light dressing. The cheesecake was tasty but a bit too sweet for my tastes."
