Even thought it was not trend setting, I was very satisfied with the improvements that UA has implemented for its lounges and particularly onboard long haul Y flights. Compared to what they used to serve the difference was drastic, although there is always room for improvements. I think it seems stingy to announce all these improvements and then try to charge passengers with "Buy on Board" after the meal service.
