Lunch - For Starters: A fan of sliced pear, poached in aged tawny
port, featured with matured Gorgonzola blue cheese, presented on a bed
of crisp greens with a fresh mango chili compote and garnished with candied
ginger.
Entrée: Beef Bourguignon - Tender braised beef and pearl onions
slow cooked in a traditional rich burgundy wine sauce. Served with Basmati
rice, julienned tri-colored peppers and turned vegetable medley.
Desert: A selection of cheeses, grapes and a small tart.
Orange juice, Capppuccino
Pear was very tasty, so was the beef and the burgundy wine sauce. Yummy !
