Virgin America's catering is always good and I am still sad that Alaska Airlines will take over its operation soon. I am sure these meals will not return, especially Dean & DeLuca's snacks. The Spring Omelet was delicious - airline's omelet rarely was good, but Virgin America did a good job in preserving its texture. It was not dry but tasted like freshly prepared. Freshly warmed croissant was good. However for a five hours flight, the meal could be heartier, and there should be a pre-arrival snack tray. The snack tray was cut two years ago.
