Virgin Atlantic is really weak when it comes to onboard catering. The food was poorly presented and barely premium. They are just average food. The only good part of the lunch service was the chocolate hazelnut tart. They skipped the linen service and used these nasty polyester mats instead. They did not work well at all. They cheapened the whole meal service. There were fruits and snacks available during the flight on the loft. Then there was an on demand extra bites service offered ninety minutes prior to landing I chose the non-vegetarian afternoon tea (other options are a Vegetarian tea set or burger).
