Business Class
Lunch , Special meal: no
Unfortunately Virgin Australia really offers a lackluster service on its Trans-Tasman business class cabin. Qantas and Air New Zealand both offer a proper three course dinner, while Virgin Australia thinks that it is acceptable to serve a lunch, which is all served in one tray. There is not even a separate starter and one of the main courses are cold. Today's choice is a Thai Green Curry Chicken (pictured here) or a tomato prosciutto salad served chilled and there is a cheese plate to accompany it, as well as a packaged Luke Mangan's dessert, which is just plain bad. I did not know why VA thinks a packaged dessert is acceptable for a Trans-Tasman flight. I will not waste money on VA Trans-Tasman business class, and if you buy a ticket through Air New Zealand, please make sure that you do not fly on flight operated by Virgin Australia.
Coke Zero
Basically a poor attempt and basically putting economy class food in a tray
