WestJet is now serving hot meals on its PLUS cabin on its oven-equipped 737s, which are mainly the Boeing 737-800s (and soon -8s when the planes are recertified again). The meal was still on the small side, and the quality was not good. The Alberta Beef Stew tastes like a microwave supermarket meal with no seasoning. The bread should not be served in a plastic bag. However, it is a good start and the PLUS is still a premium economy product, rather than a true business class product.
